mini me

its 15 to 2 on a labour day afternoon.... THE WIFE is putting junior to sleep after his feed and i am lazing around doing what i enjoying doing best on a public holiday afternoon... nothing... the funny thing with doing nothing is, no matter how much time i spend doing it, nothing never gets done... theres always more nothing to do... hmmm...

junior just turned 6 months yesterday... and its been one milestone after another the past few weeks... junior first learnt to flip over somewhere last month... then he went one size up on the diapers.... yup he is wearing L now... thank goodness there is XXL now, i reckon he would outgrow L in two months time and then outgrow XL in another four months time... that would mean he would need the XXL in six months time, when he turn one or thereabouts.... hmmm.... lets not think about what he would wear when he outgrows XXL... we will cross that bridge when we get to it...

junior hasnt been poo-ing much the last couple of weeks, he would go once or maybe twice in two weeks... scarry when you think about it, where does all the milk and cereal goes if it doesnt come out the other end? junior seems fine though, even the doc says that its okay as long as he is behaving fine, feeding well and not too cranky... junior likes to taste things now... apples, papayas, watermelons, his rattles, his old man's watch when he can get it into his mounth..... the thing with junior not poo-ing is that changing him has become a rarity... it has sort of became a privilege to change him... if i timed it correctly, i can go two even three weeks without having to change a crappy diapper... but then junior would be full of crap... hmmmm....

junior is just starting to be able to sit on his own... although for short periods of time, he is able to sit in his own high chair and join us for dinner... nothing for him from the table though... usually we would give him a soup spoon and he would be contented to just stick it into his mouth, chew on it a little, take it out, bang on the table a little, chew on it somemore, bang on the table some more and then throw it on the floor and starts to wail... that routine would give THE WIFE time to just finish dinner and then carry him on her lap.... sooo..... are we training him to sit alone and give us time to eat dinner? or is he training us to eat our dinner fast and carry him?... hmmm.....
